New function for SeeMySea's first year!

After boat / boat swap, now the boat / house swap

Over 300 active members on its first year, SeeMySea is already the first worlwide boat swapping network.

For its birthday, we decided to gift it with a new function you were numerous to ask for: it’s now available to swap boat and house.

Many opportunities of travels and exchanges between a boat and a house appeared during your contacts, so we’ve adapted the website to this new function. By the way, we are also experiencing a partnership with Trocmaison, house swapping specialist.

You can already update your profile and swap offer, and check for other members updates!

When sailors meet

Another way of using SeeMySea: hospitality between members

Maurice on-board Yvon's boat

Yvon Puill and Marc Guyomard, from Brittany, France, and Maurice Giguere, from the Chesapeake Bay, USA, pioneered an additional swap formula between SeeMySea members, last summer: day outing hospitality for the network members.

Maurice had already planned a vacation in Brittany including a home swap when he came across SeeMySea. He registered and informed some members in the area of his wish to go sailing. Yvon and Marc stood up and invited him for a day outing on their respective boats, just like that.

Yvon, Marc and Maurice initiated another way of using SeeMySea: finding sailing opportunities away from home, welcoming another visiting member...This is what Maurice has to say about the experience:

'My membership in SeemySea has brought great joy to our vacation in Brittany. Sailors have one thing in common: they love the sea and sailing. With this common trait, I was able to meet two great sailors and their boats. The hospitality and friendship extended to me was exceptional. I look forward to any SeemySea members coming to the United States and sailing in the Chesapeake Bay'
